2. Scope of Services

3. Booking Process
Bookings can be made by phone or by any other method we make available. When placing a booking, the Customer must provide accurate and complete information, including the service address, access details, type and approximate quantity of waste, and any relevant restrictions such as parking or building access.
We may provide an estimated price for the rubbish removal services based on the information supplied by the Customer. This estimate is subject to confirmation upon arrival at the premises, when our team has inspected the waste and assessed access conditions.
A booking is deemed accepted and confirmed only when we have acknowledged the booking and, where required, the Customer has accepted the quoted price and any applicable terms for payment, including any deposit.
The Customer must ensure an authorised person is present at the premises at the agreed time to grant access, confirm the waste to be removed, and sign off on the services, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
4. Access and Service Conditions
The Customer is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the waste that is to be removed. This includes providing clear instructions regarding entry codes, keys, or porter arrangements where applicable.
We are not obliged to move items that are not safely accessible, that may cause damage to the property if moved, or where doing so would put our staff at risk. We may, at our sole discretion, agree to move items from difficult locations, but this may incur additional charges which will be explained to the Customer where reasonably possible.
If we are unable to carry out the services at the agreed time due to lack of access, unsafe conditions, or inaccurate information provided by the Customer, we may charge a call-out or wasted journey fee to cover our reasonable costs.
5. Pricing and Quotations
Prices for our rubbish removal services may be based on factors including the volume and type of waste, weight, labour time, access issues, and disposal costs. Any price given before inspection is an estimate only, based on the description provided by the Customer.
When our team arrives, they will assess the waste and confirm the final price before commencing work. If the actual quantity or type of waste differs from that described at the time of booking, the price may be adjusted accordingly.
All prices quoted are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We will advise the Customer of any taxes or surcharges that may apply at the time of quoting where reasonably practicable.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due on completion of the services, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the booking. We may require full or partial payment in advance for certain bookings, especially where large volumes of waste or special arrangements are involved.
Payment can be made using the methods we accept at the time of service, which may include cash, debit or credit card, or bank transfer. For business customers, we may, at our discretion, agree credit terms, in which case invoices must be paid in full by the stated due date.
If payment is not made when due, we reserve the right to charge interest on the overdue amount at the statutory rate, as well as reasonable costs incurred in recovering any unpaid sums. We may also suspend or cancel further services to the Customer until all outstanding amounts are paid in full.
7. Cancellations and Amendments
The Customer may cancel or amend a booking by contacting us directly. Where possible, we request a minimum of 24 hours notice before the scheduled service time for any cancellation or major change to the booking.
If the Customer cancels with less than 24 hours notice, we may charge a cancellation fee to cover our reasonable costs, including staff and vehicle allocation. If our team has already arrived at the property, a call-out fee or a percentage of the agreed price may be charged, even if no waste is removed.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate any requested changes to the booking, such as changes to the time, date, or volume of waste. However, this will depend on availability and may result in an adjusted price.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking at any time if circumstances beyond our control make it impossible or unsafe to carry out the service. In such cases, we will aim to provide as much notice as reasonably practicable and will offer an alternative date or a refund of any amounts paid in advance for services not performed.
8. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that they have the legal right and authority to request the removal of any items. By instructing us to remove waste, the Customer confirms that they own the items or have obtained the necessary permission from the owner.
The Customer must separate, where required, any restricted or hazardous items and clearly inform us of any such materials that may require special handling or cannot legally be taken by us.
The Customer should take reasonable steps to secure valuable or fragile items that are not intended for removal, so that they are not mistakenly taken or damaged during the clearance process.
9. Waste Regulations and Environmental Compliance
We operate in compliance with relevant UK waste management legislation, including the duty of care obligations relating to the handling, transportation, and disposal of controlled waste.
All waste collected by us is transported to authorised facilities for recycling, recovery, or disposal, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We may provide documentation where required by law, such as waste transfer notes for certain commercial collections.
The Customer agrees not to request the removal of prohibited or illegal items, including hazardous waste for which we are not licensed. If such waste is discovered among the items to be removed, we may refuse to collect it, adjust the price, or, where necessary, cease work and charge for any services already carried out.
10. Liability and Limitations
We will exercise reasonable care and skill in performing our services. However, our liability to the Customer is subject to the limitations set out in this section and elsewhere in these Terms and Conditions.
We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business interruption, or loss of opportunity, arising from or in connection with the provision of our services. Our liability for any direct loss or damage to property caused by our negligence will be limited to the reasonable cost of repair or replacement, subject to an overall financial cap equal to the total price paid or payable for the specific job giving rise to the claim.
We will not be responsible for any pre-existing damage to property or items, or for damage that results from inherent defects, poor condition, or unsafe structures. It is the Customer’s responsibility to inform us of any fragile, valuable, or delicate items or surfaces that might require special care.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. Insurance
We maintain appropriate insurance cover in respect of our rubbish removal activities, including public liability insurance. Details of our insurance cover can be provided upon reasonable request.
The existence of our insurance does not increase our liability beyond the limits stated in these Terms and Conditions or as required by law.
12. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If the Customer is dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, they should contact us as soon as possible, providing full details of the issue. We will investigate the complaint and seek to resolve it promptly and fairly.
Where appropriate, we may offer to rectify any service shortfall by revisiting the premises, collecting additional waste, or making a goodwill gesture. Any remedy offered is at our discretion and does not constitute an admission of liability unless expressly stated in writing.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly between the parties, either party may consider seeking independent advice or using alternative dispute resolution procedures where available. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
13. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This may include extreme weather, accidents, road closures, breakdowns, strikes, public emergencies, or changes in law or regulation affecting waste disposal.
In such circumstances, we may suspend or reschedule the service and will notify the Customer as soon as reasonably practicable. Where the service cannot be performed within a reasonable time, either party may cancel the booking, and we will refund any advance payments for services that have not been provided.
14. Data Protection and Privacy
We collect and process personal data such as contact details and service information for the purposes of handling bookings, delivering services, processing payments, and managing our customer relationships.
We will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws in the United Kingdom. We will not sell personal data to third parties and will only share it where necessary to fulfil our services, comply with legal obligations, or with the Customer’s consent.
15. Amendments to These Terms
We may update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing structure, or applicable law. The latest version will apply to any new booking made after the date of the change.
For ongoing or pre-booked services, we will give reasonable notice of any significant changes that may affect the Customer’s rights or obligations and will ensure that such changes comply with applicable consumer protection regulations.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be considered severed from the remaining provisions, which will continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with any written confirmation of booking and any specific agreements made in writing between us and the Customer, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the services and supersede any prior discussions, understandings, or arrangements.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, or the provision of our rubbish removal services, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions or the services we provide.
